Hace 6 años José Gabriel Yáñez tuvo la idea de hacer un documental centrado en los juegos de rol en México. Su intención era identificar a multiples grupos y/o personas que juegan rol en nuestro pais, y documentar como este hobby ha ido creciendo y evolucionando a lo largo de los años. El día de hoy Vraymar (el handle de Jose Gabriel en Twitter) nos presenta la primer entrega de esta serie titulada Roleros Mx.
El primer capitulo se centra en Medardo Landon Maza, un rolero de Texcoco (Estado de México) y de su grupo Tierra de Quimeras, quienes recientemente cumplieron su vigésimo sexto aniversario. Medardo nos cuenta como los juegos de rol cambiaron su vida, y de la aventura que organizaron para conmemorar los 20 años de este grupo.
Aunque este es solo un piloto, José Gabriel tiene la idea de continuar con este proyecto, y continuar documentando la evolución de los juegos de rol en México. Les recomendamos que tomen un par de minutos para ver el documental y darle retroalimentación a Vraymar de su trabajo. Este tipo de proyectos ayudan a que crezca la comunidad rolera en nuestra país, y esta en nosotros el apoyarlos para incrementar su difusión.

6 years ago, José Gabriel Yáñez had the idea to create a documentary centered on the RPG community in Mexico. His intention was to track down the multiple groups and individuals who play RPGs in the country, and to document how this hobby has evolved during the past couple of years. Today, Vraymar (Jose Gabriel’s Twitter handle) presents us the first installment of this new series called Roleros Mx.
The YouTube Pilot is centered around Medardo Landon Maza, a role-player from Texcoco (Estado de México) and his group Tierra de Quimeras, who recently celebrated their 26th anniversary. Medardo tells the story of how RPGs changed his life, and the massive adventure they prepared during the 20th anniversary of his group.
Although this is just a pilot, José Gabriel has the intention to grow this project, and to travel to other parts of the country, looking for those groups and individuals who have helped the hobby grow in our country. If you have a chance, watch the video and send Vraymar either constructive feedback or some words of encouragement. This type of projects are helping us grow the RPG community in the country, and it is up to us to spread the word and to show our support.
